Vision

Como universidad internacional, la Global Humanistic University (GHU) ubicada en el Caribe, albergará a miles de estudiantes a través del sistema de aprendizaje a distancia. La educación superior tiene un gran potencial como vínculo entre las universidades y la sociedad. Al final se trata de un viaje transformador, empoderando a nuestros estudiantes con las herramientas, atributos y oportunidades para convertir su potencial en éxito.

Hoy en día, los estudiantes crecen en un mundo donde la información se comparte y la interacción se realiza con facilidad a través de Internet. El potencial para compartir información ha cambiado la manera de investigar y ha creado oportunidades para nuevas formas de colaboración, a menudo conocidas como ciencia o investigación abierta. Dichas prácticas incluyen el intercambio de datos y borradores antes de su publicación, cuadernos y acceso abierto a publicaciones. Las nuevas generaciones de estudiantes estarán cada vez más familiarizadas con los modelos de aprendizaje combinado con contenido en línea. Esto aumenta las nuevas posibilidades para el diálogo académico y el aprendizaje auto guiado en línea mejorará las habilidades y la independencia de los graduados. Los estudiantes disfrutan de la movilidad entre los diferentes sectores de la economía a través de agencias de empleos o a través de programas de educación superior con compañías del sector privado.

Somos una universidad global y, al igual que en nuestro lugar de residencia, Willemstad / Curazao, reflejamos la diversidad y compartimos el internacionalismo de las diferentes culturas y comunidades de nuestros estudiantes, nuestros socios académicos en el Caribe, América del Sur y en todo el mundo.

Mission statement of the institution

The GHU aims to empower its students and provide them with the necessary tools for a practice-based, logical, and critical way of thinking to help them navigate through information and knowledge and to turn their potential into success. 

The Global Humanistic University’s mission is to produce a global community of students and researchers who will make vital and lasting sustainable contributions to the economic, cultural, and social well-being of the societies in which they live and work. Bearing in mind the fact that the university’s main objective is to shape the future of professionals through its own unique approach and teaching methods, the goal is ultimately the self-realization of each individual student.  

The GHU’s aim for the near future – reflected in its mission statement - is to realize its eight strategic goals and to fulfill all core tasks for each goal:
