The Global Humanistic University can award an honorary doctorate or honorary professorship to any person who holds an excellent reputation in our community due to their achievements in an academic subject or due to outstanding benevolent achievements, and who has contributed to academic and/or humanitarian matters in general and/or to the Global Humanistic University in particular.

The person honored should be associated with the Global Humanistic University and is to be recognized as a role model for humanity and in particular for young people worldwide.
The study regulations do not specify any requirements for the award of an honorary doctorate or honorary professorship. It is awarded upon proposal. The Academic Board decides on the nomination.
The honorary doctorate or honorary professorship is an extraordinary honor without the usual legal significances of a doctorate.
